Customers Reviews

I am extremely disappointed in this product's quality

I am extremely disappointed in this product's quality. A few months ago I wrote a review for Nutpods, giving it five stars.Every morning I was looking forward to my cappuccino. The last order I placed, however, was a complete disappointment. The manufacturer changed the design of the box, and it seems they did so in order to cover up the fact that they also changed the formula. It's no longer rich and creamy, but most likely a watered down version that doesn't froth well. I was so happy I had found such a greatproduct, and was planning to be a customer for life. Now I am just wondering - why change something that was great to begin with? Why put out an inferior product ? I am one disappointed customer.
Not a half-and-half replacement

3.0 out of 5.0 by YawningDog on August 10, 2016
Very strong (but not unpleasant) nutty taste; slightly lumpy; I liked that it wasn't sweet like most creamers are, but it left a very slightly chalky feeling in my mouth. All of that I could deal with (and probably even come to like), but most importantly, there's no body: it's thin and a poor substitute for half-and-half. My search for a vegan half-and-half replacement will continue, unfortunately. I applaud the efforts of the makers of Nutpods, but the result just doesn't work for me. If you like skim milk in your tea or coffee, you will probably love this. Michele from Nutpods contacted me to ask how I like it, and I was honest in saying it wasn't for me, and she told me to initiate a return through Amazon for a full refund, even though I did use half of one container. Great customer service and a great company. If they ever do make a creamer that really does equal the consistency of half-and-half, I'll be trying it again. In the photo, it's half a Nutpod container in the cup on the left, and much less half-and-half in the cup on the right.
Delicious and no clumps.

Well....I figured too good to be true or it wouldn't last. After at least three deliveries of great creamer.....today i opened my first curdled one, seems to taste ok but notice a slight more bitter after flavor. For the high price we pay, I'd rather not deal with the curd! Not cool. Also the packaging changed and is lesser quality and hope not reason for curd? I'm now stuck with three packs of this now and hope the rest aren't curded up too?! :(I will now stop my membership and am bummed. No returns or credit either....
Tastes great, but too precious for the real world

This is a truly excellent product. It may taste even *better* than half & half, and it's definitely an improvement over my usual unsweetened soymilk. And of course it's got the stamp of approval from Whole30 LLC which is why we're using it this month and probably why you are reading nutpods reviews.Unfortunately the value just isn't there for many people like me to use it on an ongoing basis. At ~3x more expensive than organic half & half and ~5x more than soy, it's a luxury item for those who absolutely cannot live without a creamer AND have dairy AND soy sensitivities. I'm not going to spend $80 a month for coffee creamer.
I'd rather be chunky than to drink gritty coffee...

Waste of money! I was looking for a low carb and calorie coffee creamer and I love both coconut and almond milk so I gave these a try. They are a bit pricey but I figured it was worth it because I love my morning coffee. They arrived yesterday in a big Manila envelope and were frozen solid. I was very disappointed because I wanted to try them right away. I let them defrost overnight and ready to go this morning. I made my coffee, shook it up, measured out a serving of the original and noticed it was separated and had a curdled appearance. I put that serving back and shook it for a good 3 minutes ( because who doesn't want a mini workout making their coffee) and measured it out again, still gritty looking. It took three servings to change the color of my coffee and after stirring really well this is what it looks like. The flavor is meh, Like skim milk with a subtle hint of coconut water and the texture is down right terrible.
Curdles

High hopes for these, but as soon as I put them in my coffee the creamer became chunky and gross. Felt greasy in my mouth. Completely ruined a $4 cup of coffee.
Two vegan thumbs up

I have searched for a good coffee "creamer" ever since going vegan about 5 years ago. Making coffee is a ritual for me, I love my java! Until now, my favorite has been Hemp milk (rich, does not change the taste of the coffee, etc) But-- hemp separates in the coffee. I have been using the Nutpods creamer for about a week, and I have to admit, I kind of go "yum" after each sip! No weird aftertaste, no coconut taste, no bitter almond taste. Just nice and creamy. The small cartons will be easy for travel. The only issue is cost; I think it's a little high. But, my coffee is important to me, so I think I'm going to come back for more. I appreciate the quality ingredients as well.
Pricey but you get what you pay for

I recently had to switch from half and half bc my blood work shows I can't have milk anymore. For me, this is a big deal as that is my favorite thing to add to coffee and I drink coffee every day.Thankfully a friend recommended Nutpods.Pros:Original flavor is not nutty at allMouth feel is spot on (like half and half)The after taste is spot on (like half and half)Small container ensures the one you have opened isn't going bad before you finish it (if you use it ever day like I do)It's not thin like other dairy free creamers tend to be.Cons:Price is high for the amount you get but you get what you pay for.As a fellow mompreneur I really appreciate that this is designed by and a mom owned company. Very cool.Erica
